Contributing Artists
Chris Arduser
Producer, multi-instrumentalist
Chris co-produced the Rhyolite CD, and contributed MANY performances to the project, including drums, mandolin,
hammond organ, acoustic guitars, and tambourine. Chris continues to lend critique, support, suggestions, and performances
to new E.J. Wells recordings.
Two (possibly three) songs from Chris' new soon-to-be released CD were tracked in my humble little
recording shack.
Do it!
Chuck Mauk
Drummer, Engineer
Chuck is not only one of the best drummers I've ever worked with, he's also a talented engineer, and hence
is 2nd in command at Happyland Studio.
Chuck will lend drum work to the "Boca Diablo" record, and may do some live shows with me, if I can come
up with the large dollars he demands.
Chuck appears in the Hearsedriver video. He's the guy with the drums.
Maverick guitarist/songwriter, currently in St. Petersburg,
Florida.
An open invitation is extended to VC to join in at any time.
As recently as 8/07, Graves and Wells have collaborated
in the studio, the fruit of those sessions can be read about/heard at www.ruinrecords.com, and VC's song "Is It Alive?," which was brought into the world at my own beloved Happyland Studio, will soon be available
for purchase, along with several other nutball tracks from this ghoul-o-billy pioneer
John Wayne Wicker
Drums
I'm pleased to announce that John Wicker will appear on at least two songs on Boca Diablo, the new CD...to
be released late in '07.
Wick helped me IMMENSELY during the writing/arranging of many songs from Rhyolite, as well.
He has made the 12 hour trip from Virginia Beach THREE TIMES to record with me (soon to be a fourth!), and also has allowed
the Ruin Records mobile unit to park in his driveway for a 4 day weekend for further recordings. Matter of fact, our 2001 recording
of my song "Hearsedriver" was included on an Ohio based compilation CD called "Turn Me Upside Down, Baby!"
Chad Smith Hammond Organ/Piano/Accordion/Theremin
God almighty with a Hammond A-100.
Chad is moving to Minneapolis, which saddens me deeply.
He'll be missed, and I'll do my damnedest to squeeze some performances out of him when he's back to visit...which
I pray is often.
